HPI - Nitro RS4 3 Type SS
Available now from HPI Racing is our Nitro RS4 3 Type SS! This is an unassembled kit with no radio for racers who like to build their own cars. The big news is that we added our brand new Nitro Star 12R SS pullstart engine, a 2-speed transmission and a high flow header pipe for incredible top speed!
The Nitro RS4 3 Type SS has many of the features found on our popular RTR Nitro RS4 3, making it a great kit for parking lot drivers. Our number one request from customers was to eliminate the problem of rocks getting stuck in the drive belts, so we eliminated belts completely and added a tough shaft drive system similar to what has proven successful on our popular Nitro RS4 MT and Super Nitro Rally.
Also included are an enclosed receiver and battery box, removable radio tray, and stiffer 2.5mm chassis. An adjustable 2 speed transmission is included to increase top speed. And, we've added adjustable turnbuckles for easy tuning.
A key feature that sets this kit apart from the RTR 3 is the inclusion of our brand new Nitro Star 12R SS engine! This engine pumps out over one horsepower for the ultimate in performance and top speed! A purple heat sink head and black case make it look like a performer, internally it has aggressive porting and true ABC construction for durability and performance! A convenient pullstarter makes it easy to start, and our fully adjustable 2 needle rotary carb makes it easy to tune. The Nitro RS4 3 Type SS uses a new high flow tube header and our proven dual-chamber tuned pipe for excellent performance.
